RABICA - Rideau Centre
A high-end Fragrance destination in the heart of Downtown Ottawa, this retail store offers fragrances not available in any other shop of its kind. Conceptualized after temples of Ancient Greece and Rome, the space feels sacred: ‘chapels’ lining the room with displays and a centre oculus mimicking an opening, flooding the space with light.
WABANO CENTRE
The Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health purchased the building next door, in which they wanted to expand their services and create a centre for indigenous recreation. Cedar themes and indigenous symbolism were incorporated in the design to foster a feeling of a ‘home away from home.’
